I haven’t done many farm posts lately, but that doesn’t mean we’re not busy. We’re about to plant a whole bunch of cabbage, and I’m working on updating the Food Safety side of things.
The field planning is done, and we’re just working out the details. I’m waist deep in paperwork and to do lists to get the shed ready for watermelon season. We have manuals, logs, and checklists to work on. We have building improvements to make and seasonal cleaning to do. We’re like worker bees around here.
I’m spending two days at the office each week and using much of my time at home working. After being home for 6 months, I’ve really enjoyed the time at the office. I think Blair enjoys my time there too. One day she cried when her babysitter left!
Soon I hope I’ll have some results of our efforts to show in picture form! Watermelons will be rolling before we know it!
