My mom and I took Leighton for his checkup this week. Blair stayed with Brad’s mom, which was so weird. She usually goes with us to the doctor – and everywhere really. It sure was quiet in the car on the way!
Leighton was happy as usual!
He weighed 16 lb 12 oz and was 25 1/2 inches long. I have never gotten percentiles because Blair was never on the chart, but I looked Leighton up this time. That’s 10th percentile for height. Bless his heart. Let’s hope he’s not vertically challenged.
He’s in the 75th percentile in weight for height, so I guess I’m feeding him enough!
The paper was a hit.
After the appointment I was able to scoot by the LOFT and get a few deals on shirts. I’ve spent the whole fall and winter wearing three shirts. It’s a good thing I don’t get out much!
When Blair is with me, I certainly don’t get any looking done for myself. I got a few shirts to carry me through the rest of the cold weather and into the spring. All but one were $10.88! I love LOFT sales. They used to know me by name when I taught, but now I never go in there. It’s probably been two years since I bought something there. My babies always look cute though!
I had lunch at Moe’s for the first time; it was yummy! Then we just had to stop by for a Krispy Kreme. My mom and I are such bad influences on each other.
