Beach Food – Yum!

One thing I love about going to Ormond Beach is that I know where to eat! Over the years, some of our favorite places have closed, but others have opened and become new favorites.

Brad, Blair and I ate at Betty’s A1A cafe three times while we were on vacation. And I had the same thing every time. I was too scared that I would be disappointed if I got something else. (It’s hard for me to find seafood I love.)

I got this cute picture of Blair and Brad the last night at Betty’s.

I’m not that lucky to get a good one of us!

Betty’s is in Ormond Beach just across the street from the ocean. Every time we go the food is delicious. I get the shrimp parmesan. They have the best fried shrimp, and I’m all about some marinara sauce, so the dish is perfect for me!

One night I had the crock of onion soup. It was delicious.

Blair had sweet potato. That she buttered herself.

  She did pretty good with the grapes one night.

And the last night, we sat in “The Lagoon.” Blair liked the beads on the window.

And that night, we got DESSERT!

This feeding each other is a usual occurrence in our household. Why they have to eat with a knife, I will never know.

We love Betty’s!

The other place that we went that was really fun was Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Bubba Gump’s is next to the boardwalk in the new mall. We had a little photo shoot out next to the outdoor stage and the beach.

Blair was not a fan of our family picture.

My best friend from forever came with us! Yay!

I am usually not a fan of chain seafood restaurants, but Bubba Gump’s delivers! I had fish with shrimp over potatoes, and it was delicious.

Blair had yogurt.

And she loved it as usual. She also had a peach, fig newtons, and no telling what else I put in front of her (that she didn’t eat).

Yay for yummy seafood! I could eat a shrimp parmesan about right now….
