Bits of Blair

Blair, like any kid to his or her parents, cracks us up. She has these little phases she goes through where she does little things for a week or so and then stops. Then there is the mouth popping. She's been doing that for a while now. She seems to do it when she likes something or is interested, but sometimes it's random. It's cute regardless!

For about a week lately, she sucked in her top lip quite often.

During the last month, she looks as things and tilts her head to the side like a puppy. It's a whole new perspective, I guess!

She has just started flapping her arms up and down when she gets excited. This is a version of what we call the "Blair dance," when she saw us peek into the crib after she woke up from her nap and flailed her arms and legs. Now she's usually standing up, so she tries to shake the crib rail.

That's another new thing... shaking things with both hands. Or at least trying to because most things she shakes are not very mobile, so she ends up moving back and forth instead! She shakes the high chair tray, her crib rail, her toys she pulls up on, whatever.

She likes to prop her feet. This is not new. She's propped her foot up in the bathtub and under her high chair for as long as I remember. It's normally by a toe....

She is too cute! I love how she tilts to the side to look at everything.
