The beginning...

Our baby girl prompted me to start this blog. So here she is saying hello at 17 weeks!

I titled our site "Across the Branch," because it was one of the first phrases I heard here that I had no idea what it meant, and it pretty much describes where we are! As far as I can tell, "across the branch" is used for "over yonder" or "on the other side of the woods." I grew up only miles from where Brad and I live, but they seem to speak a different language around here!
